About

If you’re here, thank you for clicking through my ramblings that I hope clearly show how much I love literature. I’ve been picking up chapter books since I was four, and I haven’t stopped since. When I’m feeling sad, tired, angry, happy, and all other first-grade emotions, I can pick up a book. When I have slower nights at work and actually have five minutes of freedom, I’ll pick up a book. When I’m too busy to even sleep, I’ll still pick up a book. They’re my haven, and I want to share that with you, especially as I venture on my year-long goal of reading 75 new books.

I warn you, I will post reviews/thoughts about books across all genres, eras, and target age groups. Because my mother is a middle school Language Arts teacher, I oftentimes read books that are more meant for a 12-year-old than a 23-year-old. I’m also a self-certified history nerd, and a Registered Nurse – so sometimes, my non-fiction books may seem a little tedious. And above all: I’m a SUCKER for a good dystopian novel – so get ready for a lot of those reviews. My hope is to make this a very thorough and inclusive site, offering opinions on all types of books so it becomes a one-stop shop for bibliophiles everywhere.

In addition to the aforementioned goals, I also hope to use this as an opportunity to communicate with authors, other bloggers, and, most importantly, bibliophiles. That being said, if you have a suggestion, want to have a discussion about one of my reviews, or just want to talk, feel free to contact me!

I look forward to sharing words with you all.
